I recently had the opportunity to sit down with the infamous Rick and Len from 105.7 WAPL to discuss CBD. Listen to the interview or continue reading to learn more about the topics we discussed.
Most often, when people hear CBD they think marijuana. However, there is a big difference between the marijuana plant and the hemp plant. Marijuana is typically bred and grown for the perceived psychoactive and medicinal effects of THC.
Hemp contains a much different cannabinoid profile from a typical marijuana plant and is bred and grown for high amounts of CBD. Cannabidiol or CBD for short is a non-psychotropic cannabinoid compound with enormous therapeutic potential.
CBD has strong anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasm, anti-psychotic, and neuro-protective properties.
…hemp contains a much different cannabinoid profile that doesn’t result in the psychoactive effects of feeling high.
